The winds in Pincher Creek reached 160 km/h. This empty cattle liner was blown right off the road and I was almost blown over taking the photo. Many trailers were flipped, a plane had an emergency landing and ashes in a metal garbage can were blown to a wood pile that caused a house fire.

This morning at work I found the company van had been broken into. A rock was thrown through the windsheild and and the driver side window was smashed. The glove box had been ripped off of the dashboard. I called my boss then the RCMP. The detatched glove box was taken for fingerprinting. I was taking notes and photos of the van along with the RCMP officer and she said that was a first for her.

I took a friends' dog with another reporter to Heritage Acres to cover Heritage days, which included a lot of tractors and hay.We found a cat and let the puppy play. At first the cat had no problem and seemed not to care at all. Then...It turned crazy and vicious, hissing and trying to scratch. The dog was not harmed.

Yeasterday I was at the colony for the packaging of the chickens, but I really wanted to see how it was done so I drove to colony at 8:00 and watched as they slaughtered 500 more chicken. The Pincher Creek Colony is located only a few minutes out of town. Most people have the same last name of Gross.
